Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting, adding, or using the Discord bot Skipper Bot (Discord application ID 1491958000599175180, the "Bot") in any server, or by interacting with its features, you ("you", "the user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and Discord's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms of Service, and Developer Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

2. Description of Service

Skipper is an all-in-one Discord bot providing moderation, community engagement, leveling and economy, automation, support (tickets, applications, modmail), and a wide range of utility and fun commands, all configurable on a per-server basis. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement and comply with Discord's Terms of Service to use the Bot. You may only add the Bot to servers where you have the appropriate permissions to do so.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Bot to violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law.
• Abuse, exploit, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt or overload the Bot or its infrastructure.
• Use the Bot to harass, harm, or infringe the rights of others.
• Attempt to bypass any limits, restrictions, or access controls of the Bot.

We may restrict or remove access for any user or server that violates these Terms.

5. Availability and Disclaimer of Warranty

The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Bot, in whole or in part, at any time without liability.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skipper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Bot. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Bot is to stop using it and remove it from your server.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Bot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how it is handled. By using the Bot you consent to that processing.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your server. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Bot at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

9. Reporting Issues and Support

To report a bug, abuse, a Terms or policy violation, or to request user support, contact us by email at contact@skipperbot.xyz or through our support server at https://discord.skipperbot.xyz by opening a ticket. We will review reports and take appropriate action.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, announced via https://skipperbot.xyz or our support server. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where overridden by mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence.
