Channel Restricts
Keep a channel on-topic by allowing only certain kinds of messages. Perfect for a media-only channel, a links-only channel, or a gallery where text chatter isn't wanted.
Where to find it: run
/config Category dropdown Moderation Channel Restricts. Toggle the module on first. How it works
For a chosen channel you decide which message types are allowed (text, images/media, links, and so on). Anything that doesn't match gets removed automatically. You can exempt trusted roles/users with a whitelist, and optionally DM the member to explain why their message was deleted.
Good to know
Great for #gallery, #clips, or #self-promo channels where you only want one kind of post.
Create your first restrict
- Choose Add Channel and select the channel to restrict.
- Set the Restrictions: tick the message types that are allowed. Everything else will be deleted.
- (Optional) Add trusted roles/users to the Whitelist so they're never restricted.
- (Optional) Turn on DM so members get a heads-up when their message is removed.
