Miscellaneous Module

Embeds

Design clean, branded messages once and reuse them anywhere, rules, announcements, info panels. Build an embed, save it by name, and post or edit it whenever you like.

Where to find it: run /config Category dropdown Miscellaneous Embeds. Toggle the module on first.

How it works

Each embed is saved by name, so you can edit and re-publish it later without rebuilding it. You can also export any embed to JSON to copy it elsewhere.

Good to know

Store your rules and info embeds here, updating them later is a one-click re-publish instead of a rewrite.

Create your first embed

  1. Choose Add Embed, give it a name, and build it in the embed editor.
  2. Pick the channel to post it in.
  3. Later, use Edit Embed to change it and re-publish, or Embed to JSON to export it.
  4. (Optional) Set Permissions for who can manage embeds.

The /embed command

For quick one-off embeds you don't need to save in the config, use the /embed command. It needs the same Permissions role (or Administrator).

CommandWhat it does
/embed createOpen the embed editor and send the result to the current channel, or to the channel you pick.
/embed editChange an embed you sent with /embed create. Pick it from the list (newest first) or paste its message link or ID, then edit it in the same editor.
/embed jsonDownload any embed message as a JSON file.
/embed copyTurn any embed message into embed code you can paste into the website embed builder.
/embed edit only lists embeds sent with /embed create, so other bot messages can't be changed by accident. Embeds saved in the config are edited from the config with Edit Embed.

Troubleshooting

ProblemFix
Can’t use embed commandsAdd your role under Permissions.
Embed won’t postCheck the bot has View/Send/Embed Links in the target channel.
“Embed not found” on /embed editOnly embeds sent with /embed create can be edited. Pick one from the autocomplete list. If it was deleted, or its channel was, it drops off the list.
